Well another week of Premiership football is here. How will Fulham fare now they’ve sacked Lawrie Sanchez? Who do I think will win the London Derby? And can Chelsea go to Blackburn and come away with the 3 points? To see what I think of these games and all of these weekend’s fixtures scroll down. As I tell you what I think the score will be in every Premiership game this weekend.

Arsenal vs Tottenham
Arsenal have to go into this game as favorties despite Spurs doing well recently. Despite the loss to Boro, The Gunners bounced back with a good victory over Chelsea and Tottenham’s defence despite looking better isn’t perfect. Arsenal are very good going forward and Tottenham will not be able to keep a clean sheet. I think it will be a good game with end to stuff but Arsenal should win.
Prediction: Arsenal 3-1 Tottenham
Aston Villa vs Man City
Man City have an awful away record but they do have a fantastic record at Villa Park. Add that to the fact that Aston Villa have lost their last two home games (Arsenal and Portsmouth), And I think Sven’s boys can come away with something. They should have got something against Tottenham in midweek and you’d expect a response at Villa Park. However Villa will be able to play Curtis Davies and I think he’ll be a good player for them even if it is temporary.
Prediction: Aston Villa 1-1 Man City
Bolton vs Birmingham
Birmingham have had a bit of a inconsistent start under Alex Mcleish. They should have beaten Reading last weekend and they should have got a point against Newcastle the weekend before but they got lucky at White Hart Lane with the score locked at 2-2 and Tottenham had a player unfairly sent off. I think Big Eck will play 4-5-1 in this one as a point would be a better result for Birmingham.
As for Bolton they’ll be happy to qualify for the Uefa Cup but Gary Megson’s right when he says the league’s more important and I think if Anelka and Diouf play to their best they’ll come away with the 3 points.
Prediction: Bolton 1-0 Birmingham
Fulham vs Wigan
This will be a tough game for both sides. Both sides need the 3 points but Fulham need to get them more as they’ve been worse recently and their manager’s just been sacked. They’re at home as well but Wigan showed great strength of character when Blackburn came from 3-0 down and they still went onto win 5-3. I think Fulham don’t have the players to win and their strikeforce isn’t great with only Healy being good.
So Wigan to get the 3 points.
Prediction: Fulham 1-2 Wigan
Liverpool vs Portsmouth
Portsmouth have won their last 6 away games but they’re not as good at home and they can’t score. I think here they’ll come undone. They’re having a good season but they need to sort out their home form and coming to Anfield it’s not the place you want to come when you’re trying to keep a good away run going. As for Liverpool Benitez knows his team need to win after 2 losses to Chelsea and Man Utd and they will.
Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Portsmouth
Middlesbrough vs West Ham
West Ham have been poor recently.
They lost twice against Everton and they have also only won once in their last 5 games. Boro on the other hand have got two fantastic results recently. They beat Arsenal at home and then they went to Derby and got the three points. Gareth Southgate has taken some of the pressure of him and three wins in a row would make the calls to sack him gone entirely. I think Boro will get those 3 points and I think Tuncay will grab the goals.
Prediction: Middlesbrough 2-1 West Ham
Reading vs Sunderland
Reading’s home form is good.
They broke their awful away record of losses with a draw away from home last weekend and I think they’ll back that up with a win at home. Sunderland like Reading are better at home and I don’t think they’ll win this one but Roy Keane will ask for no less than a 100% committed performance. Also the last time Reading played here they ended Liverpool’s unbeaten record in the Premiership.
Prediction: Reading 2-0 Sunderland
